Serene@ Yess! Now that you have Manga Studio you have no excuse not to be doing more stuff (the world is a better place with your art in it).
John@ Diggin' both of those, the Matrix coats are a good motif.
YellowLime@ Ooohhh, I like. Reminds me of that cartoon Gumball. The show is annoying as all hell, but the art style is delicious.

I completely agree about The Amazing World of Gumball with you, the art is very nice but the show itself isn't very smart. Although, as it's a kid's show, you can't really complain about that, I guess.

 Awesomeness
The 70s rainbow lines + military trenchcoat and feeling of older anime (Lupin the Third comes to mind? Maybe Trigun?) makes me think this would be an awesome style to play with. The silhouette basis and feeling like an era with rough technology for video games is leading me to think that she would move and act in a way that expressed a player's imagination, so I'm seeing transforming shapes for powerups (arm blasters and kicks that turn into blades) for a sidescrolling world of retro fiction/imagination brought to life. Or I could be reading too much into it  But your piece gave me a trip for sure! o ty but the character (as it stands) is an investigative journalist/psychokinetic who unveils the diabolical actions of a religious cult whilst giving eloquent speeches and participating in debates with the intellectually dishonest ie a prettier, more female version of christopher hitchens antitheism: the game - coming to you in 20XX |
