Going to try and guess them in order. Tongue
Jetpack upgrade, obvious one
I see H20 and a raindrop... ability to breath underwater longer?
Logically it looks like a speed upgrade. Either running or Jetpack speed?
Looks like feet, running possibly?
No idea what that one is. Tongue
Hand... faster digging? Able to hold more items?
Feet again, presumably just a second upgrade to the first one.
On the other side, uh... no idea about that, either.
A shield next to it? Higher defense, a defensive magic skill or something?
The eye... I'd say "more vision" but I don't see how it would work, so some kind of detection system?
I have no idea about the next three, I'm assuming some sort of magic. Tongue
Missiles? Able to shoot them, or carry more or something?
Next one looks like a visionary upgrade, but again, I don't know how it would work. Looks kind of like a disguise ability, maybe hiding/invisibility?

And then the rest I don't know. How many of those did I get right? Tongue

It means you're pretty good. Since he was able to decipher (some of) the upgrades from those simple icons, they do what they're supposed to do, and you did a good job on them.

Removing the exploration aspect of the game in order to meet the deadline. Game now fully focuses on holing up in a much smaller area, whilst making attempts to grow food, hunt creatures, building up defenses, and avoid getting killed.

Hopefully, this'll make for a much tighter experience.

But there's no reason I can't still update the game even after the compo has ended.... netplay, anyone?  Evil

Pulled an all nighter. About to pass out.

Just added three pre-generated 'hub' explorations areas... not massive, but small. Yet oh so satisfying to see.

Oh yeah, world generation is finalized. Just have to get some extra backgrounds, shrubbery and tiles in there, and it's set. So all I have left to do is:

Main Menu
Various Extra Art Assets
One or two more enemies
One or two more items
AI Director (not actually as difficult as it sounds)
The actual 'ending' to the game.
Credits.
Touchups.

(fuck, class in an hour...)
