DROIDS is a simple arena shooter for 2 players on one keyboard. Nothing flashy.

Load maps to play in the editor. Included are "level01" and "level02", but you can make your own.

CONTROLS (Game)
  • Player 1: WSAD, Spacebar to shoot
  • Player 2: Cursor keys, Right-Control to shoot

CONTROLS (Level Editor)
  • WSAD or Cursor keys to move cursor
  • Spacebar places current tile
  • Delete or backspace removes current tile
  • < Previous tile
  • > Next tile
  • 1 Place player 1 base (start position / resupply point)
  • 2 Place player 2 base (start position / resupply point)

DETAILS
  • Hammer the keys to move as fast as your fingers and rapidly breaking keyboard will let you
  • Aiming is automatic
  • Limited Ammo - return to your base to re-supply
  • Don't get caught in the blast radius when your opponent dies

Yeah, I did "Stand on top of the other guy, but be bigger" as well. Two for the price of one Wink

They're not exactly super complex to write (understatement of the century) so I just bashed them out for shits and giggles. Smiley

This was kind of fun  Smiley
I actually think that it would have been more fun without the mashing, i.e if holding the buttons down would let you keep moving.
But maybe I'm just not a masher kind of guy...
