I just made a new engine for the game that cleans up and simplifies a lot of things. Now I think I'm going to work on graphics

Looks pretty interesting. I imagine it will look even more interesting when multiple players are bouncing off of the walls and ceilings. Have you decide on an objective/goal for the players to beat their competition?
Oh, I should have described it more clearly, the players are hunting eachother. I have yet to decide if I will do respawning or a 'last one standing' sort of thing.
I favor a survival thing because the game gets tense as you are sifting through all the floating gibs and whatnot. In one test play, my friend didn't shoot me because he at first thought I was another floating body.
those are some excellent de-corpsing effects, nice work. Will the ground plane always reorient to horizontal like that?
At first I was going to let players decide, but I realized that having the whole screen turn made the game more interesting.
I like the look of this. It looks a little bit complicated to play, I can't figure out how the aiming works at all from the video
Thanks, I'm hoping that the game will have an acid retro-sci fi look at the end. The aiming works like any 4 directional platform shooter. In the latest version, the screen spin is appended onto the 90 degree limits... Not sure if I will keep it like that though.
looks good!
does the blood orient to the killers gravity or the victims gravity?
The blood in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force

Great video - it looks like a demake of the zero-G bits of Dead Space
Do you always head towards the nearest piece of ground (like in Mario Galaxy) or float until you touch a new piece? I couldn't make it out from the video.
Will
You reorient yourself whenever you hit a wall.
You should see if there's a way to make it look all youtube-artifact-y in the final version
I tried to do an effect that bent the screen but I was having difficulty getting it to work... I'll keep messing with effects though
