Hello all, this is a year old project that should have been done this month.
But I've decided to use pixels instead of Ascii for the graphics. (it was a long and painfull decision! with page after page of discussion and yay/nay's) But the verdict was that pixelated would do the game justice as it was designed. Atleast more so than Ascii could. The game will still keep some of its
'asciiness' like the ship and some onscreen sprites.
It started with this:

Esc to Exit
The thing is the console window was giving all kinds of trouble on WIN7 and VISTA. Plus the old school target was so small and even some of them wouldnt be able to deal with the bugs and issues, and pixels are just so damn fast! Not to mention the increased Level of detail they allow.
I had hoped to make the historian RaD_Man
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RaD_Man proud of this game. But thats going to have to wait. For now its full pixel ahead. The Ascii DEMO will be packaged in the final build in a subfolder. If demand is enough I'll continue working on it afterwards, maybe with some bonus levels or whatever.
