Polygon this is looking great.  Is the character consciously lighter than the background?  It looks a little off to me, but I'm nitpicking because overall it's devastating.

thank you guys. i don't know if i'll finish in time, but whatever i'll have, i'll release and we can go from there.

goshki: it's not unity, it's something better

jasper: the color is completely un-adjusted. i'm going to play around with color once i have the basics down.

flops: not as much as i would have liked. 3-4 days total?

Beautiful! Please, please add straffing! And kneeing and hiding behind obstacles. And peeking around the trees. And ability to dig trenches and enforce them with sandbags. And forward jumping with rolling. And grenades that can collapse trees on the enemies. And booby traps. And mosquitos over the water. And close-combat in Vietcong tunnels. And vehicles... And you get a beautiful Battlefield Vietnam retro remake!  Durr...?

All right, now seriously, I got a little over the top here but man, I expect it to be quite a gem when it's done.  Hand Thumbs Up Left Addicted Hand Thumbs Up Right

no.

much slower, more about the experience of the jungle and less about killing, hopefully. a low-poly apocalypse now? i don't know.

I would love it if this game took a "coop exploration" turn. Running around the jungle/woods searching for a special target or something. Considering your graphics I could run around in this environment for hours just searching for stuff... especially if my gamer friends ran by my side.

Well just a thought. I'm sure you will make something great.
