Kickstarter can also be used for creators from the Netherlands. Which isn't correctly displayed in the first post of the topic!

Hey guys! Myself and a group of talented individuals are starting up a game studio and would love it if you could take our very short survey! It would help us so much! :-) https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RQBKY2Y

I have a infographic on how game developers can market their games into profitability. This might be helpful to developers who don't have time to advertise their games: http://www.woodstockproduction.com/apps/blog/show/45267966-how-to-market-your-video-game-to-profitability

I think this is an important thread to have. For many, it can be frustrating and often confusing where to start when promoting your indie studio or game. Look forward to seeing new updates.

It's probably been said to death, but I feel like you already need a following, or something outrageously cool for kick-starter to work.

Hello! Firstly, I am very interested in knowing how these discussions didn't develop further? It is very relevant that developers start thinking about "biz" aspects from the beginning. Not how they're going to make money, but whether they're developing something people will play. Are there any discussions on the forum for the developers starting their game development journey?
