Hi, so I'm designing game with similar to Super Crate Box gameplay.
In this game main hero has to defend his tower from incoming from each side enemies. Many weapons to use, achievements, high scores online, etc.



Which one from these looks like he could be a main character in this game? Maybe combination of some of them? Thanks. Smiley

I think 5, 14, and 7 are cool, maybe a combo of each?  I like the hat on 7, the crazy on 14, and 9 just looks solid.

yeah I quickly sketched out some sprites and his archenemy to show you my vision.



I think, gameplay wise, it would be awesome to have like 5 stars you have to collect in every level to get a new level. And maybe randomly spawn different bonuses and upgrades.

I see most problems have already been addressed. But I think you should start with a good solid sprite or at least a consistent style before continuing with animating the sprites.

Here's yet another quick edit..



I hope you can learn something from it, even though it's unfinished.

#10 by far stuck out to me, as well; although #13 and #16 also drew a bit of my attention. #7 would make a good nemesis/rival, as well.
