I may or may not go... I got a horrible cold after GDC. Hopefully it will be gone by then. There's also the matter of it being over $12 just to do a round trip down there on an incredibly boring train ride. I'm really trying to save money at this point considering how much was spent during GDC week and seeing that I'm currently not working anywhere :/
If someone could provide a ride, that would be helpful. Better yet, start having more jams up here in SF.

I'm not sure if we'll be able to make it this week or not, but I definitely want to go to one of these in the future (now that we know how easy it is to get to Hacker Dojo, hehe). And tell Lana that if she decides to have a Craft Jam, I'm so there

I am leaning towards going to this one, since I missed the last one.

Wasn't there one at your place? I'm sure if you organise one people will come :D

My place is too small. I don't mind having a couple (2 or 3) friends over, but that's about as much room as I have. I don't even have any desks or chairs; only a plastic fold-out chair by the grace of Dan Fessler leaving his behind... And an inflatable exercise ball that can double as a seat, but might not be the most comfortable. In terms of desks, my friends are stuck with using empty cardboard boxes. There's a few of them, so they can be customized to suit your needs. These are the same "desks" that Stevie, cactus, and my friend Mike all used while working here. They're not perfect, but they work.

I would like to go to this. Chris has been poking me (verbally) to go for months, so I might as well, especially since I'm finally starting work on my next game!

Yep, Noisebridge would work. Or maybe we should have a 'Make Phubans some decent furniture' kind of event

Haha you should just make sure your floor is really clean and then folks can sit on the floor Sometimes I lay on the ground with the laptop on front of me and work (helps counteract all the slouching at the desk)... but yeah, it's not the kind of thing you can do all day

Combine the last two posts, and it looks like we should be making you a shaggy rug and a bunch of large pillows. Sounds kinda idyllic, lying on a bunch of pillows over a shaggy rug, making games on Phuban's floor...
How hard is it to make pillows anyway?

Hahahah, I hadn't thought about it that way! Guess Phubans can use that as a pickup line...
