I'm away next week so won't be at the meetup. Can someone else finalise it and email the new mailing list?

Oh yeah, forgot about this group thing as I read about it at work. I've just joined it, though I don't use my google email address so it'll be easier for me to just get updates in this thread anyway. Seems more sensible to keep TIGSource meetup info on TIGSource really, more accessible.

Anyway the meetup will be on Wednesday 3rd, at 6:30 somewhere in Leamington. Who's going?

I see this more as a general indie meetup than a TIGsource meetup, really... I know people who might like to come, but who are not necessarily interested to hang out on TIGsource :-) So let's have both the thread and the mailing list - it can't do any harm :-)

I'll definitely be coming to this one. I'm happy to go with the Jug&Jester again, it's got a good location and is a nice enough place.

Another good meetup Smiley See y'all in September in Coventry.

I'd somehow become convinced that tomorrow night was the 1st of Sept, making it the first Weds of the month. But it's not, is it...

So who's coming on Wed Sept 7th, and which pub are we going to?

Yep, 7th. Gatehouse was mentioned, also going to Inspire again was mentioned. Inspire is a bit pricey but has a fantastic selection of beer. It's also easier to get to from the train - just follow the blue line painted on the floor. Gatehouse has awesome food if anyone wants to take that into account. I'm happy with either but would choose Inspire.

I'll be there!

I think I have a small preference towards the Gatehouse because of the food, but it is further from the train station so happy to go with somewhere closer.

Last time we were at Inspire did we discover that they have some other event on every first Wednesday of the month?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. They have a beer tasting, so that means no food at all and no option of sitting inside. Maybe Gatehouse is best?

Gatehouse is fine with me, doesn't look any further from the station than Browns (Inspire is nice and convenient, though)

Are those map links correct?  WTF

I was thinking of trying to come along to this one, but would be coming by train - so would definitely prefer whichever is easiest to get to from the station

New, working links!

Gatehouse

Inspire

Neither is a massive distance from the station. I'd say Gatehouse is 10 mins, Inspire is 5.

A week and a half until the next Leamington meetup. Are we going for the Jug & Jester again?

Wednesday the 5th is it?

Glad these meet-ups are still happening! I'm back in the country after a busy Summer in Montreal, so hopefully I'll be at the Leamington Spa meetup Smiley

Yep, Wednesday the 5th! If nothing is decided in a couple of days I'll assume Jug & Jester and post on the newsgroup thingy about it.
