Hello,

Working on another game. It's a metroidvania, so you've got your powerups, and exploration, and all that jazz. My influences come from Super Metroid / Metroid Prime, Zelda Games, La Mulana. My overarching goal is to do what La Mulana tried to do, but even more so: I want the player to need to really think before they make choices. Even in La Mulana, you could save the game, and then try stuff, and see if it worked out how you want it to; and undo your moves. My plan is to have the game autosave (hopefully also alleviating frustration from having to redo any difficult platforming). Choices are going to be obvious that they are a choice, for the most part.

Gameplay is going to mostly take place in a giant hollow-earth type world. Still working on story/setting specifics.

Here are some screenies: very WIP, adding different moves/abilities for the player at the moment.
