Either me or some other programmer gent will probably be collaborating with Beau to rebuild this in portable C++ or flash form sometime in the next few months.  (I'm particularly interested because I've been thinking about pixel worlds in Infinite Blank)

Here is a mockup of the tiles and sprites I've made so far:

Amazing! I think I'm going to redraw the entire tileset of my game.
Thanks!

EDIT1:
I can't export tiles! It exports a correct size image but filled with the background color. I'm using export canvas, wich works correctly. I'm loving this app! Thanks very much!

EDIT2:
Ooops, found another bug while loading a .pix file I save early, it popus a GM window showing:
Code:
ERROR in
action number 1
of End Step Event
for object Control:
Error reading real.
If I ignore it, it seems to repeat once for every tile loaded. Hope that helps.

EDIT3:
Just found that the GM editor reads the .bmp exported tiles correctly. Photoshop & MSpaint don't. I'm fine with this but you may want to fix it.

This looks so amazing. I would really like to use but can't get it to work on Linux. It also doesn't work on a virtual machine. Any linux user got it to work? And if not is there a similar tool like this? :D

Anyway, amazing tool

Game Maker doesn't like wine very much, so I think you might be out of luck, short of a rewrite.

Hey just wanted to thank you for making this. I can resonate with everyone here in saying how much easier it's made making tilesets and mockups. I've encountered a few hiccups and lost some small sprites due to random crashes, but I'm building a much needed habit in every program of saving often. Looking forward to future releases of this tool.  Hand Thumbs Up Right

Awesome tool! Can't wait for the next version. Have you considered making it open source?

One lockup I noticed is caused by trying to export tiles when you don't have any yet.  Gentleman

I found out the hard way that if you accidentally delete a tile off the tile set, undo will not bring it back.

Also if you delete one instance of a flipped tile, all of the flipped tiles will also vanish and can't be brought back with undo.

And if you drag your tiles off the borders of the little tile set in the corner, they're also gone forever. I haven't had any luck at all using this program, but I can see the potential.

That's some great stuff! o/

Our next project will use pixel art.
I'm telling our artist about this tool right now!

looks cool, i'm gonna play with this.

hmm, it gets really slow when the canvas is too big (i tried 100x100).  should be pretty easy to optimize though, shouldn't it?
