each boss has 2-3 obvious weak spots that you hit 3 times. the only difficult bit is figuring out how to get to them. and once you figure out the plan of attack, it's not particularly hard to execute.
Well in that case I do suck because there are a few bosses in the game I'm terrible at, like the geyser one. Seriously fuck that colossus.

When you complete the game you unlock a Time Trial mode. Each colossus has a time limit, and for every other colossus you manage to beat under the par time you unlock silly bonus items like arrows that draw the attention of the colossus, or a parachute you can use to glide off of cliffs. The game is pretty simple, you're right, but it's so beautiful (the environments are so varied, ranging from climbing a cliff, to battling around a crypt, to climbing a waterfall, to exploring an old fortress) and the fights are so varied (riding a waterborne colossus and trying to steer it into a rock, fighting on a bird while it rolls and banks, fighting a giant lizard from the windows of a tower) that it stayed fresh for me even after a couple playthroughs. You can also really optimize your fights to take down the colossus faster and faster, which is why the time trial mode is a lot of fun. Except that colossus with the giant club. The technique for beating his hard mode version under par time in basically a glitch.

At the moment I'm playing Zenonia 2 on a cheap chinese android tablet, and trying to figure out why something that feels like Legacy of Goku is being marketed as an action rpg.

Playing SWAT 4. Fucking hard, but I really like the scenarios, and it has a bit more flexibility than Rainbow Six.
I'm aware this game is about 7 years old.

Dragon's Dogma on hard mode. Unfortunately, it's not really that hard, but I love the game anyway.
I also just bought Vanquish. Heard some really good things about it.

I spent most of the day playing Euro Truck Simulator 2. Deary me is it boring but in a totally fun way! Hauling tractors and bunch of pipes down the Autobahn is pretty fun somehow. I would totally recommend it.

NO the way to make the game fun is to play a glass canon ranger (heavy weapon + archer) by only increasing stamina, THEN each encouter remain tense but end quickly, it's either them or you!

Back to Civilization IV. Too many of my games become trivial Worker adjusting somewhere halfway through, but this one has been pretty interesting with all the wars and stuff. My strategy has been to bribe others to fight my wars until I waltz in to reap the profits.

I have 64 of 80 stamps in Nintendo Land.
I bought it thinking it would be like Wii Sports and only come out at family gatherings, but trying to complete all the bonus challenges and time trials is extremely addictive. Plus, it's fun playing a game where the Japanese haven't already mastered everything.
