I bought Amensia seven months ago. I think I've finally worked up the courage to play it. Tonight, I'm going to shut out all the lights, put in my headphones, and see how much shit I find in my pants after a session.

How is Golden Sun: Dark Dawn? I liked the originals, especially all the block puzzles you solved with magic. Been thinking of getting Dark Dawn.

i enjoyed it, it retains the puzzle elements of the older ones while keeping just the same batshit crazy story that the first ones enjoyed.

one thing I don't like is that you're given 8 different characters to play with but can only have 4 in your party, it makes me feel like i'm neglecting my party by sticking with the first 4 i got.

In other news, i'm playing from dust at the moment, I'm getting really into it but I can see how it's getting mixed reviews, definitely worth giving it a try
Well, damn, you said everything.
I don't personally really like character models and the fact that Dijnns come in different shapes.

But it might be quite interesting, yes.

I've recently stumbled over the complex mod for Homeworld 2.
The penultimate space game just got even better. I've been slaving too many hours away on this already. It adds a lot of things like Crew Management, a whole load of new modules and mechanisms and what not.

Here, have a trailer:

Finished Prince of Persia (360) and now I'm onto Mass Effect 2 which has been sitting on my shelf awaiting play for about three months. I can see why I waited til I was unemployed because this game is stealing so much of my time (but it's so damn good).

Too many to count. I feel very guilty. Here are a few:
- Secret of Mana (SNES)
- Catherine (PS3)
- Shadows of The Damned (PS3)
- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (PC)
- Titan Quest: Immortal Throne (PC)

Currently found my way back to fallout new vegas and in the depth of the old world blues DLC on xbox 360. It's surprisingly humorous!

Just finished Shadow Planet on the 360. Not the longest game, but I loved it. Really varied puzzles and combat, and there's a great sense of physicality to the saucer controls and interacting with the world.

Now I need to try and finish the last level of Jamestown, and maybe try the new Fallout DLC.

Tales of Phantasia (SNES, J, De-Jap translation). Its musician, Motoi Sakuraba, seems to be known for his music, after disocovering Golden Sun's composer was him. Graphically, it's impressive with that shadow layer. Looks like it was intended for the PlayStation.

Ah, Tales of Phantasia is my favourite from the series, and Motoi is damn genius! Just started to play Avernum 6 again, as I quit it too soon last time... Damn, it's great!

Twisted Shadow Planet and Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon..!

EDF Insect Armageddon is pure excellence, especially jumping into online co-op games, it lacks a bit of the feel and charm of the originals but is growing on me.

Shadow Planet is also excellence.. enjoying it quite a bit but surprised at the % explored in the amount of time I played it.

Morrowind.

Aside from being overwhelmed by the scale of it all (which could also be seen as an upside) it has done just about everything right so far

Picked up Catherine a couple days ago. Really enjoyable so far. I typically don't get too into puzzle games, but I'm constantly trying to get perfects here.
