Splitting my time between new batman and DX:HR:DC.

New batman is fine.  The story and graphic design aren't quite as aggressively dumb as previous batmen.  I still wish that there were far fewer brawls and far more lurking in rafters stealthily taking dudes down.

I've only encountered 2 major differences between DX:HR and DX:HR:DC so far in the boss battles, but I really appreciate the changing of the boss battles such that stealthy hacking is a way to take them down now.  I'm also interested in seeing how the DLC integrates into the core game.

Played Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
This game makes me laugh for reasons unrelated to the game's written humor.

Yep, it is. At some stage it was too rough with me as it kept crashing and didn't allow me to mark new places even if I did everything right (= eventually roaming the world without map). But it has some amazing atmosphere in all it's roughness.

what I really don't get is why we can only walk with one plant.

The hero's actually naked with a minimum of pockets and plants dissolve on contact with each other.

Just got into Saints Row 3, and I've been addicted to it the past few days. I remembered GTA being like this like a decade or 2 ago, but had no idea they were this good. I've also been told this was the worst in its series, which means the other 3 must be real tight.

Trying to get into Volgarr the Viking and Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, but both are really challenging. I will beat one of them though one of these days.

Monaco's addicting. Even better with random strangers.

Spec Ops was crazy. I've seen some terrible shit online, but killing Riggs and civilians was too much. Didn't feel anything with the white phosphorous though. Final battle song was good.

Loved the atmosphere and puzzles of Brothers: A Tale of 2 sons, as well as all the characters. It has some incredibly creative themes, it really did make the most out of the 2 people mechanic. Ending wasn't so sad though, apart from the dad crying bit.

Spelunky is still as great as ever.

Swapper has some fine puzzles, and are incredibly satisfying to solve even after you're stuck for hours.

Also started modding my games and it's incredible how much better they look and play

Ohhh, that's interesting to hear. Guess I'll check the first three, too! Though I really like Saint's Row IV until it came to the last mission which I found too boring in the beginning (tank shooting on rails? seriously?) and stopped playing since.

Played spelunky for the first time, the design is so tight, haven't appreciated a good game in a long time.

I played PC last year, just now on new version (console).

I love the Tiki designs. The dark is scary. Just made it to ice level.

I am playing too much and should be working
also just got to the ice level today
the game is unforgiving, and often feels like gambling.
but there's a clear design to the enemies you can learn and exploit, which I like.

Played Black Lodge 2600 (the Twin Peaks fan game based on the last episode of the series) and I was both confused and terrified. Brilliant game.

I dropped an owl on the one armed man!!  I enjoyed it so much.  Coops run cycle reminds me of the old Superman run cycle from the memory of youth.

I've been delving into Vantage Master for some time now. It's a very straightforward turn-based with elemental damage and stats, and it's really cool even though it's old and is written in engrish. There are lots of stuff I would change in it but for now I'll just be happy that it doesn't have that hit/miss bs. Also cool sprite art.
