Managed to 100% DRoD 5.

Moved onto Full Bore, a brutal puzzle platformer. Well the emphasis is more on puzzle, and your movement is governed by certain rules that help make the puzzles. Think Toki Tori series, except much much harder. They've really thought about the movement mechanics and different interaction with game elements. Don't like you have to room transition to save though since I've lost progress that way. Also devs are too smart, some puzzles are just a nightmare to figure out, I suppose that's a good thing

Other than that, beat a somewhat brutal metroidvania called Magicians and Looters. Despite having newgrounds-tier art and humour, the level design, combat, bosses and gauntlets are done very well.

After that I've got around 20 more platformers bookmarked on steam. Tags are the best thing for people on a genre binge, and the worst thing for people who spend way too much time on games.

Played some Survarium beta.
Its pushes itself like Stalker online, but instead it is really weird team ctf game.
One of the most ridiculous things is that you start with selection of two WW2 soviet primary guns. One is civil war grade rifle and other is the worst machinegun in games.
Its super impossible to hit moving target. Yesterday i had sniper duel with some dude in a small room.
I have feeling that this game was designed by some gun nut-ww2fanboy who cares more about screws on a butt of ttzx-9mm than actual game design.
Anyway, i cant find any pve. It is either closed for me or simply not done yet, which is bummer.

I've been playing Magicite a fair bit the last few days. It's a really frustrating game most of the time, but the rare lucky run where I do well is pretty satisfying. Unlocking races and hats seems pretty crucial, and the process is a bit too slow for my liking... Not sure I can recommend it just yet. It's kind of like Rogue Legacy in that it has some deep flaws, but can still provide a decent amount of entertainment.

I just watched someone play To the Moon from start to finish.

I haven't cried that much in years.

Highly recommended.

Valkyria Chronicles... Now that's one I've been meaning to play since years.

You Have To Win The Game is a small metroidvania that looks and plays fantastic, and is fun to do things like no deaths/speedrun. It's definitely worth its price (well it was free)

I liked You Have to Win the Game, but felt like the central puzzle was slightly too obtuse compared to the rest of the game.

The Stanley Parable was fun. The world is simple enough to explore, and the developers put a lot of effort into slightly randomizing parts of the game so you keep feeling entertained through the early parts despite replaying them very often.

Magicka is pretty fun with multiplayer, though it's hard enough that if you have one player who isn't particularly good you can wind up dying a lot on some of the harder fights. It's a good game if everyone is ready to put in an effort to win.

Started up Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, but didn't get very far yet. I'm stoked that I still have Azran Legacy after this, and Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney coming soon. I'll be disappointed when I catch up in the series again.

Yeah, You Have To Win The Game is great. Loved the art style. It's a game that's super simple in concept but is executed very well.

In fact, now you've prompted me to go back and play it again. Gon' get those Steam achievements.

Just played through the original Castlevania again on the Wii.  It was really hard and frustrating and death took me like 30 tries (Dracula was comparatively easy), but it's also fun enough that I kept wanting to play it anyways.

Just got done wrapping up Far Cry 3, in preparation for Far Cry 4. I'm mind boggled at how many more hours I spent with FC3 than Skyrim. (Fallout 3 still has my record though)

Currently taking it easy with some PixelJunk Shooter (Free with PS+ on PS4). It's a weird kind of game where I can kick my legs up, put on a podcast, and just zone.

Started playing Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall, the extra character customisation is nice and it looks like there's going to be more weapons to use throughout the campaign

Also worked out that Adventure Time Battle Party works at a friend's house, the place I'm currently looking after has a very broken connection.

Started The Wolf Among us, not much to say about it except it's exactly what I expected and I'm enjoying it a great deal.

I keep playing Dragons Dogma on and off, right now I am dealing the quests triggered after your audience with the Duke. Done the duchess quest, dispatched the griffin at the faraway easily, keep murdering chiameras, and getting annoyed by the soulflayer cavern (i had two great drops the first time i went there, getting a plain (yet somehow great) longbow for my pawn and a magick bow whose name i forgot for my character, but died without saving thanks to snowharpies and no matter how many times i rerolled, i never got both together again), and cant trigger the assassins ambushes anymore, despite having had to run from one of them due to escort mission.

i wish there were couple more towns, i already found everything on the map and i keep going back and forth with a few bitterblack isle runs hoping to succeed again gorecyclopes and petrfying dragons and grimgoblins.

Still on a platformer binge after shovel knight.

1001 spikes, gunman clive, and super lemonade factory have pacing that is too... casual? for me so it's hard to really play through it. Forced myself through gunman clive and not sure if I want to try to get the alternate modes.

Also got Strider, and though I don't really care for story, I wish this one at least had one that gave meaning to what I was doing because I'm just trudging around and it's not all that interesting.

At least I know Out There Somewhere, Shantae and Momodora 3 will be solid

I really don't get the love I see all over for Gunman Clive. I've bought it on two different platforms in the hopes of it "clicking" but it never does.
