titanfall 2 is fucking great. one of the best fps campaigns in years (they basically just came up with as many cool ideas as they could and built a mission around each one) and the multiplayer is a lot of fun too. and it feels so good!!! it's amazing that we got this and doom in the same year, and both feel like they came out of nowhere. there's never been a better time to be playing video games where you shoot people, folks

Finally got to play Zombie Night Terror ( click for devlog) Gameplay is lemmings, i'm 10hours into it taking my pace (doing the challenges for achievement) and i still have like 17/40 levels left to do. There's another chapter (10 levels) and a level editor coming in the future. Really worth playing if you like pixel art or zombies or lemmings. lemmings is pretty much the best videogame so thank you for the heads up

I heard very good things. Do you think someone who usually thinks fps games are boring would be able to enjoy it? (I do like Half Life etc..) I'm playing: 10 second ninja on PS4. Fun! But goddammit it's hard from the start.. I'm getting quite good though. The Witness on PS4 - again, after realizing I'm not the only one getting nauseous when playing it. I updated and set FOV to 100, reticle on, lowered brightness, lowered TV backlight and saturation. Now I can play without throwing up! And it's awesome. But I hate the sound puzzles. They are just annoying, not hard but annoying.

Surprisingly, The Witness was the first game ever to make me feel motion sick, due to something that starts happening right near the end. Be prepared for something particularly pukey when you get to a certain cylindrical thing.

I heard very good things. Do you think someone who usually thinks fps games are boring would be able to enjoy it? (I do like Half Life etc..) man, i don't know. structurally the campaign reminds me a lot of half life 2, but the gameplay is definitely more CoD-slanted. And it's a 6 hour campaign, which i like a lot, but if you're not going to touch multiplayer i don't know if you'd get your money's worth. maybe if you can find it in a redbox and give it a rental. the campaign's story isn't great, it's just the setpieces are fantastic and there's almost no padding at all. there's one mission in there that is probably the best mission i've played in an fps game since CoD 4's ghillie suit mission.

I'm limited by the fact that I'm using Linux but mostly Incurgency.
But also Bleed - Looking so much forward to Bleed 2, it just looks awesome.

Streamline is available for free right now on steam. "Add this game to your account for free, and own it forever! Limited time offer ends 9am Pacific on November 18th." Don't miss a chance to play this and support devs laters if you're enjoying it.

Symphony of the Night. In the first hour or so, I've noticed that it does some fairly basic teaching of the progression system through taking your power away and teaching combat in a simple way by giving you a lot of power at the start. I find the level up system to be kind of convoluted and not well conveyed. I don't understand why an increase in strength couldn't have just been achieved by giving you better weapons over time. Game itself looks and sounds gorgeous. It feels pretty good as well. The manner in which these elements mesh makes it really satisfying to play. Design-wise it is good, I haven't encountered a lot of its metroidvania elements so far (a door sealed with magic and some elevators). Enemy placement is good, but hasn't really "wow-ed" me so far either. Will definitely play through the rest of it and see how it progresses.

it's like if metroid was an annoyingly bloated rpg with anime dialogue + good graphics and sound (all of these things are keys to why it's popular)
still a gud gam tho

The SNK pretzel movements for activating spells are awful though. There's, like, one button on the controller that isn't used for anything, I'd love to be able to just hold that down and press one other button to do magic instead of having to feel like I'm playing Fatal Fury.
Other than that it's a gud gam.
