Quick question: Will I like the Last Guardian? I'm not a "fan" of Team Ico's work (thought SotC was good but got bored with Ico), so I'm not going to automatically enjoy anything they do. Hence why I'm asking.
tlg is extremely good. its demanding of your attention though, I suppose similarly to ico? (i havent played ico yet) |

The reason i did not like ico was because i can't stand puzzle games. Sotc i liked better because it had more things going on in addition to the puzzling (action/exploration).

last guardian is mostly walking, easy to defeat obstacles, and light puzzles. There's nothing as 'videogamey' as sotcs climbing/combat. |

yeah i enjoyed playing on my phone more than on the apple demo units for some reason. there were some weird performance issues there. i'll be picking this up when i have the money.

i dont think its some sort of towering masterpiece but they managed to squeeze quite a bit out of the runner format with some clever level design and classic Nintendo Polish(tm). plus, it's blissfully free of f2p. not sure it's better than punch quest but it's in the top tier of this overcrowded genre.

I am enjoying the hell out of Super Mario Run at the moment. After slotting several hours of free time, I have successfully got all the black coins.. in World 1. I have no idea how long it's going to take me to get them all, but I'm sure all the commuters on my morning train hope it's soon, as they've had enough of my wincing, gasping and swearing like a madman.

Rally is pretty good but two things would make it better for me:
1. Let me rally against just my friends
2. Don't tax me toads when I lose
There's been times when I'd like to play it more but I don't want to lose more toads. Tour is much more forgiving, I can have infinite retries when trying to nail some elusive black coin.

toad rally is okay but the desert level and airship level with the gophers that shoot very hard to see projectiles can fuck right off

frog fractions 2 is very good imo. also have been playing DOOM, which i am liking much more on pc than on ps4. OneShot.
Pretty good so far! Very charming game.
Started this too, am interested in seeing where it goes. |
