Zelda: Breath of the Wild, obviously. Easily one of the best games ever made. Incredible game.

Played a bit of Don't Starve Together last night. Don't usually like crafting games but it's pretty fun.

I got around to beating the new River City Ransom game that was shitting me. There's some sections that infuriated me further because I only wanted straight fighting and it broke away from that too much (also they suck) and the last boss really sucks and isn't something that I want to see in a game of this type. When you're beating up punks and you've developed your stats enough and fleshed out your move list it's a hell of a lot of fun but there's just too much stuff that bugged the shit out of me that I can't see it any more than a borderline six/seven out of ten game. Now I can go back to playing games that I enjoyed more and leave it to rot in my Steam library.
i wonder how that recent 3ds game compares?

Screenshots didn't instill much faith in me but it could still be a good game, I don't know for sure. But I think for the time being I'll be sticking with the GBA remake which is really good.

Been playing Exile, in this case the Amiga version. I played the Atari ST version part of the way through a few years ago but I think it was cracked and that caused it to like, stop working fairly early on so I never go to the second half.
So having actually gotten to the second half now I'm a little disappointed -- it feels like it's losing the neat physics puzzles and focusing more on... poorly conveyed item puzzles that only have a single solution, like how you go about making the large coronium rocks, or that you need to use a fish on that one clam to suck the antiradiation pill out of the wall.
>:T
Okay aside from not really convey how to make coronium rocks, the manual definitely suggests picking up the fish.
The problem is that there are some discrepancies in how things are named between the BBC and Amiga versions (the manual has a picture of a piranha but refers to it as a big fish?) so having knowledge of the BBC version is making me draw the wrong conclusion about things.

Not too long ago I picked up Invisible Inc. and wow, its probably one of the best games I've ever played. The fact that its layered with so much tactical flexibility and somehow manages to avoid "cheese" strategies is amazing. Its pretty much everything I've always wanted in a strategy game, even down to the not fantasy sci-fi setting.

Picked up a game called "Eternal Ring" from a video store to complete a "buy-one-get-one-free" deal. I was sold on the tagline "Who said all fantasies had to be final" to the extent that I didn't even notice it was an old FromSoft game. It's an first-person Action-RPG dungeon crawler (a la Kings Field). I'm enjoying it so far, although it's pretty goofy.
