I am playing Mega Man X Legacy Collection: the filters are good but the crt effect is worse than Street Fighter 30th Anniversary, the scanline effect is too strong; the Beginner Mode is a nice addition, so every gamer can enjoy the game without retry the level for the 100th time, but it is not tuned very well: basically it modifies the multiplier of the damage received, which sometimes does not work (the spikes kill you instantly) and sometimes works too much (some bosses almost cannot kill you).

I started to play Absolver. It's good but so difficult ! And it's too bad they didn't put much effort in voice acting and developping the characters.

I've been told many praises about this game! I guess I'll try it someday. Last games I've been playing are Observer (surprising story) and Surviving Mars (nice social & surviving mechanics for a simulation game).

Yep, just keep in mind it has dark souls mechanics, if you are not ready for dying and losing currency, backtracking your progress etc., just saying haha :D

It's weird. I owned Virtual On for the DC YEARS ago and I just couldn't figure it out. (That and Tech Romancer). So much so that I ended up trading them. Ever since then I've had to listen to people wax on about how amazing they are and I can't figure out if I made a mistake or if everyone else is just !@#$ing crazy.

unless you're using the twin sticks there's not much to figure out. it's a one on one fighting game in a 3d space, you have fixed length dashes and enormous floaty jumps, and every movement option affects your attacks (eg a front dash will fire a weapon in a different way to side dash, a side dash bomb won't eat projectiles but a front dash bomb will) so all your "moves" are intrinsically linked to your movement. so the real fight isn't just to shoot your opponent until you win but to control space while doing so, managing risk and reward in movement and attacking, which is all dynamically affected by cover in the terrain and your opponent's movement.
i never played the dreamcast one so maybe it added more to the mix, but cyber troopers is cool
