Currently hooked onto RPG Maker game, Wadanohara and The Great Blue Sea. Games I was playing but set aside but will come back to later: Hatoful Boyfriend, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (3rd playthrough), Soma Spirits, Even the Ocean, and DQ VIII (3DS port).

I only have fortnite:
The interesting they do is to have change that happen in real time on the map, it's a very abstract story, but basically if you are at the right place at the right time, something can happen.
They only have one map, but you see the map evolve, place get toss into decay, thing change place, stuff get destroy, and what about the big moving tornado where a floating highland is held by a cube and powering up some place to have jumper energy source? How well the floating island exploded and send out cube fragment that is raisinhg zombie out in the land, wait they are more and more of these spawning over time, wait the cube is cracking and a portal lightning is opening above?
Keep playing to see what will happen ... that's a smart idea to inject some story inside a multiplayer session game ...

PLayed Dandara a few days ago. Pretty cool metroidvania game. I stopped playing at the final boss though. I was playing the game in short bursts to unwind from the stress of life, and final boss fights usually don't work for that end. I'll finish it eventually.

Tried playing that delta rune thing because the entire internet won't shut up about under tape and managed about 5 minutes before I concluded that it's earthbound but for people who want to fuck cats and closed it

I want to play that one too. But I have to revisit undertale because I don't remember much about it. For such a paradigm changing game it's odd I don't remember much from it, but I do remember enjoying it.

I like cats but I couldn't fuck a whole one. I found Warning Forever on an old thumb drive so I gave that a spin to find out that while I'm not really any better at the game than I used to be I'm not actually any worse at it which is pretty great since I thought I was too old for these types of games now.

Just started Return of the Obra Dinn, and it made an extremely good first impression. I can tell this is going to be a really good time.

You're in for a fantastic experience! Best game I've played all year by far.

I really enjoyed "Papers, Please", so I am curious to try this next game from Lucas Pope.

i have played dead cells for a little bit and just beat the first boss and quit until next time i play computer. sight unseen i am going to guess that this game originated from tig source because each and every text box annoys me with an earnest inability to construct a joke and a cloying, zero irony forum post style. other than that it seems good

not only am i correct, but apparently i posted in the thread as the game was being developed, mostly about strider 2. as such, anything i dislike about the game is ultimately my own fault

dead cells is a very good game. the bad writing is probably due to the developers being esl.

dead cells is great until first boss. Then you realise it has diablo 2 style level design and enemy variety. They have same issue as Risk of Rain, when ark projectiles are op and they counteracted this by some teleporting enemies.

^ Totally. Dead Cells couldn't hook me past several hours in, though that was a year ago. Currently switching between playing Stephen's Sausage Roll and Event[0]. Really enjoying the roll a lot.

I also didn't like Dead Cells, after the first couple of hours I saw too repetitiveness from dungeons and loots, it was like a game that you need to grind a lot to arrive at the end of the game.

except grind is useless. its more just learning to start over and over again.
