In other news, I got some more contract work doing web design for S2 games, so hopefully that won't interfere too much with this game.
Nice! The new levels are looking really cool too, Gabe. The lighting seems to add a lot to the scene.

How's the contract work going to influence your schedule? My two colleagues on our game just got their asses kicked with extra homework at Uni, so we're facing major delays. How are you dealing with that on Archer, set any deadline for yourself?

Those sketches are really well done. They remind me of intaglio or lithographs.
I hope some art like make it into some aspect of the final product, it's a great compliment to your pixel stuff.

OHH SHIIIIIIIIIT NIIIIIIGGGAAA
That music is amazing. It captures the game's style perfectly and has that Zelda-esque flavour about it. Is music your specialty or is something you do on the side?
Thanks a lot for the kind words. Music is not my specialty, I'm more of a programmer. If you're still looking for a musician and do not need shitloads of music, I may be your man (for free). I'm up on the TIGIrc channel or on AIM at anytime if you feel like discussing it.

Everything about this game is great also your work ethic is inspiring... That was really intense but I still think if I could work this well I would be doing way better in school.

This captures my imagination. It's brilliant. Not finished as you say, but like good text adventures, whatever is missing, your mind extrapolates from the greatness of what is there.

Oh my, it looks like a simpler Smash Bros but with less moustacheod plumbers and more bouncy vikings! On topic: The game looks to be coming along nicely, can't wait for even more info!

The Image looks really good!
The only thing you can improve is to recolor the dark lines, into a more smoother line.

Do you guys have a competition or maybe a demo opportunity on the horizon that you are treating as a deadline? If you do, then yeah that's definitely a tricky issue.
@Gabriel Yeah, we imposed some deadlines on creating Snobli Run. Partially because my two colleagues are in college with those same projects you mentioned and because I'm still doing my freelance writing part-time too. We're struggling with different issues at the moment that I'd love to talk with you more about, so check your PM. But to stay On-topic, your work ethics are quite inspiring and I've decided to take up a similar approach of doing at least 1 thing a day on Snobli Run in a similar way. Keep up the great work!

DAY 34 - April 22, 2011 - Not much today, just expanded the mask collection on the house from the previous post. If you can guess where they are from you get 0 points, because it should be obvious
@Retro, Nugsy, Anty, and RadiationBlure Thanks guys And yeah, I'm surprised that more people don't follow the D-Pad blog. They are always posting cool stuff there. Nice Easter egg
