it's from brain damaged toon underworld, a game cactus hasn't finished.
he's probably just making another joke, because the characters in that game had rotating body parts, and the head in your game seems to rotate with the mouse.
anyway, i like what i'm seeing, when can we see a video?

But that seems to be coincidental. Even if it wasn't, mooosh's description of his game makes it sound entirely different from BDTUW. Please don't start more crap. (Or open the door for potential crap-starting.) Especially not in someone else's devlog! Seriously.  Renton: I was worried you deleted the original fight, but I see you split it off, so... yeah. Definitely the right choice in this case (100% derailment). |

you could edit the color of the skin a bit, and add/edit certain details to the outline and in the body.
maybe make the shoulders more square, add ears, possibly a belly button.

Well the head is the most similar. It's quite distinctive (the most distinctive part of the BDTUW sprite), and it doesn't really convey much information or have any real purpose to be done that way. It can be done better. Everyone has drawn bodies that way, so don't worry about that.

really? I was more concerned with the body than the head. I like his head . Make him a her. / maybe not. a game featuring girl nude protagonist who's goal is to turn the world pink? // i think that just got a whole lot more offensive indie |

I understand how you feel. I actually wrote a story for a game and had my main characters laid out and the world they inhabited figured out and then found out it was already made pretty much. Half-life 2 and the episodes.  which I liked... A lot. Dang it. I'm not kidding. I made half life. (I also invented the concept of mathematical division in bed one night as a youngster, well before being introduced to the concept in school.) This looks fun. It's also crazy how similar your other game is to cactus' arena shmup. Ha but who cares? No I. |
