Since I suck at art Im approaching my game graphics the easiest way possible

Hi. I would actually say that those are very nice! There are some very good pixel-art related tutorials on the web (try http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=pixel+art+tutorial). You can also check http://perfectpixelart.blogspot.com/ for some nice pixel-art graphics inspirations and showcases. Keep it up!

I wouldn't read those tutorials on deviantart if I were you. You'll only get worse that way. Most of those so called tutorials are junk done by utter noobs. If you want read some good tutorials I suggest gas13's website or cure's new tutorial.

And remember, the only way to get better at something is to practice and listen to peoples advice Wink.

Those things aside, I think your sprites could use a consistent lightsource and angle. I also think that some parts of the sprites could do with some more contrast "the hair for example".
