Hi.
This is an othello game i'm doing with Gemix Studio. At the moment it has only some menues (the game mechanics are done but not shown yet).
So I'm looking for feedback in menues for the moment, in special graphics, animations, and options.
Thanks.

These are the screens and the download link to see the work to the moment. It is for Windows in the development state, but it will be build for linux and mac too:

Othello... I used to play this on my Spectrum when I was younger.

On-topic, the menus look fine to me.  Quite attractive in fact I feel.

Hi, thanks for the comment. Yeah, as the game is simple enough (well... I just want an decent IA), I want to focus in the visuals and the feeling more than the IA strategies.

I uploaded an update. You can play the game now, but I havent put the on game options yet, which will be as follow:
- Show al the possible/legal moves.
- Show the best move (according to the IA).
- Make the IA to do the current move for us (the same move as shown by the previous option).
- Undo last movement.
- Save game.
- Exit to the main menu.
I'm going to put a pair of icons to enable/disable the music that will be always shown.
The IA needs to be improved. At the moment the same strategy is used in the 3 modes.
The visuals aren't definitive, I will change the flip animation and probably other things (the background maybe...).
I'm really interested in the performance and the fps specially on game. It is set to run at 60fps but this game uses an engine that doesn't use acceleration (it's a software blitter...).

Thanks.
