Today's sprite brought to you by DRAGONBALL

It's a dragon radar!

In this sprite, I tried to tinker with anti aliasing. You might have to zoom in to see it in action.

May 17th, 2011.

I tried to sprite my avatar. I think it turned out well.

Criticism please!

Sorry but, I don't think "a sprite a day" can "improve your skills".
You seem to be rushing your work almost every day, and you don't have enough time to improve your work after we give you advice.

I think you need to have "a serious sprite a week" Wink

Yeah, I kind of agree. I'd like to see you edit each sprite and see if you can improve it, because otherwise it's hard to know if we're helping you with anything... :X

For example, the dragon radar (or whatever that thing was called, I forget...) lacks any sort of lighting or shading whatsoever. This is something we've brought up talking about previous sprites, but you haven't started addressing the issue yet, so it's hard to be sure if the advice helped at all.

Maybe every week like shadowdim said, or every few days even? It'd be great to see at least one fixed sprite!

I suppose I should start fixing them up then. Maybe I should start drafting, like making multiples of each sprite, improving XYZ.

The criticisms I wasn't really using for the sprite, but my spriting skills as a whole. I was looking for suggestions to keep in mind as I work on future sprites.

However, I see the value now in improving other sprites. From this point on, I'll take time to improve them, even if just a little bit.
