I've begun working on a new game. It doesn't really have any gameplay yet, and I don't know what exactly the goal will be.

One thing I want is that each time you move a tile, everything else updates a step as well (think old roguelikes)

I'm toying with having an open-ended world you explore. You'd need to find some items and/or defeat one or more bosses. The world would be procedurally generated, thus allowing some form of replayability.

Combat would be your standard, move into enemy to attack enemy thing. Nothing really original about this project, it's just a learning experience for me (my first real project with C++)

Are we supposed to give feedback on just the screenshot?
/\ Sorry. Didn't see that it was in the Devlog section.

It looks nice.

Based on that screenshot, I'm going to give you the feedback that I think the colour scheme is good.

Cool pixely visual style! I'm just trying to get into C++ myself. Are you using SDL?

Due to school I won't be able to work on this game during the week. I'll be out of school in a couple weeks though, so progress should increase significantly.

My plans for this weekend are:
- Begin first iteration of world generation
- Improve player-world interaction to work with entities (monsters, doors, items, etc)

Looks pretty Smiley
Thanks!
