Thanks for the comments, guys!

Development is going pretty well regardless of my mouse deciding not to work anymore.
For the original demo we got Kevin Carville to work on the audio, and we are excited to say he has agreed to continue development with us!
It's like a tiny Jables reunion. Smiley



Kevin recently send over the theme to Grandpa Crank and it's awesome!

Hey guys! All week I've been working on something towards the end of the game, so I don't want to spoil it.
Here is something else instead!



The tower is decorated with a bunch of pictures. They are almost all references to movies/TV/comics that have something to do with time travel. Some are seriously obscure references (and the small pixel size will make them even harder to figure out I'm sure), but these three guys should be pretty easy to recognize.

Hey guys. currently working on getting save points in. in the original demo we had a save button in the menu, but we ended up deciding on an auto save system. you can no longer save when you want but we have a save go off after you do anything of importance, so the player never has to worry about redoing a task.

What's left to put in the game:
-Final items
-last cutscenes
-climax of the story
-ending
-lots of polish!

hard to say when that stuff will be finished, but hopefully not too long! once I get enough audio polish in, we will probably be releasing an updated version of the demo [with more gameplay than last time though!].

I just stumbled across this devlog for the first time, the game looks great, I'm definitely going to go back and read through some of the log when I have a chance. Seems like you guys have been working on the game for quite a while!

thanks! unfortunately in the development gap most of the old images got deleted, but probably tomorrow i'll make a mass post with all the old character concept art.

This looks cool!

I really love the art - so neat and pretty and the animation just makes it feel alive. The main guy looks a bit like Tin-Tin, if Tin-Tin had had a harder life, which is no bad thing.

Definitely be keeping an eye on this!

Didn't get much done during the week, aside from working with Kevin a bit on finishing the outside track during first day past. Which is sounding great.
Over the weekend I've been getting a lot more done. It's been mostly bug fixes, but I've been working a bit on the final scenes too.

Nothing i'm working on is spoiler free so this might have to be just a boring text post. I'll trying to get something visually interesting posted during the week.

EDIT: I think I can say with confidence that I can bump the 60% complete up to 70%. Small victories. Smiley

The twins of Tick Tock Isle have a few forts set up in the game. Each one is a small platform mini game. Here is a little preview of the first one, which is castle/medieval themed.

all four are platforming and are pretty similar gameplay wise, but they get harder and each have a different theme [visually].
originally we planned for them to be completely different but since they change visually i felt they needed the mechanics the same to connect them together a bit better.
