Ichi the Killer is basically one of the most fucked up thing I have ever seen. Not necessarily because of the gore.

On the topic of messed up, I watched A Serbian Film. Surprisingly good production quality for what I thought was a B-film. The yucky stuff wasn't that traumatising, except for the child-rape bits which made me cringe pretty hard.

I've been watching Vikings, it's quite enjoyable. Probably 4/5 stars so far, it helps with the wait for Game of Thrones.

Vikings is pretty good...not amazing. Love Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha) on that show though. It's been a good diversion while waiting for Game of Thrones.

Visitor Q is one pretty nutty ride.  Have you seen alot of Miike's films???  He did a pretty decent one shot show in a series on Showtime/HBO(?) called Masters of Horror.

Audition has that crazy high pitched tink tink sound in it through out the movie.

I checked it out.  The Masters of Horror Miike is Imprint.  And he does a great visual one in the ass end of Three Extremes, which has three shorts making its full length.  Bai Ling in the first one selling 'dumplings', the guy who did The Host directing one, and the Miike's stark wintery one finally.

Take out Ichi and prolly Visitor Q from what is the Miike talk of the last few posts and thats about all of his stuff I really liked.  Audition has its moments.  But its just moments to me.

Imprint and Box (from Three Extremes) are about my favorite.

I just finished the whole series and WOW that was gripping. Do not read up on anything about the case before watching.

Saw Room 237 on Saturday night. If you like The Shining or crazy conspiracy theories it's worth a view.

Taken: going to watch "The Staircase"

Currently:  On season 4 epi. 7 of BattleStar Galactica.  Never had it spoiled once, never watched it once until this year.  I've been super impressed.  Screw Zombies, give me Cyclons.

I watched Django Unchained for the bazillionth time recently. I never thought I could fall in love with Christoph Waltz a second time after Inglourious Basterds, but boy was I wrong.
