First you label your game a super cool "Beta" of which everyone has lost the meaning off. Secondly sell your game in this "beta" form. Thirdly release marginal updates that still don't address the games main issue. By the third step you should already own half the world so you should just make a second game.  Comments aside great job man! I love the art style you have really puts anything i have in my own head to shame

The pressure's on right now, it's a bit daunting to tell the truth.. I liked it when I was just noodling away on the game and hardly anyone knew about it! Hehe well of course I like how things are now, but for different reasons.

it's good but too long imo. leave out some of the more generic gameplay footage you have and keep in the more entertaining/special moments. I wanna see the best of what your game has to offer, and I don't want to waste too much of my time watching simple gameplay footage. show me the best and give it to me in no more than around a minute and a half.
at least that's how I feel in general. I like my trailers short and sweet showing the best of what the game has to offer in as little time as possible.
good job on the game though, it looks really good so far.

For a trailer that's supposed to get me hyped about the game, two and a half minutes of just plain gameplay footage gets a bit boring. Maybe intersperse it with some descriptions of the gameplay features that make the game stand out. Show some snazzy close ups of the characters or enemies, or some hint of the story if there is one. Perhaps a montage of all the different weapons you can get?

Getting better, but I think you could still shave like 30-40 seconds off without losing anything. Is there any way you can zoom in at points to really showcase the grenade FX?

I think it could still drop 20 seconds or so. I played this at the Eurogamer thing & it was great - I liked the way it was mission based - rather than have Grenades! More Grenades! and POWER UPS! as your headings, I think you should see it as no one knows what this game is, start right from the beginning.
The first heading should be Blast Your Way through 40+ levels of blah blah blah, the next should be something like... In a squad-based action shooter! then the next Crazy Power Ups and Grenades. That sort of thing.

thanks folks I felt like I was fighting a losing battle with the text so I ditched it and just tried to make the trailer punchier, and hopefully it's enough to motivate someone to find out more

Aha, yes sorry for lack of updates on my site! I'll do a Christmas update soon, promise  but things are still ticking over and you should see a Steam release in the new year :D woot!
