Dear all,

(the forum kindly reminds me that this game has been dead for ~120 days)

I've finally decided to open-source the AstroLander project, on google code :

http://code.google.com/p/astrolander-gravity-game/

The game was not released 'officially', and there's no Android build available in the GooglePlay at the moment, due to a lack of time/motivation (rather motivation, actually Smiley)

At the moment I'm trying to polish the PC Windows build, in order to have a stable & playable release of the game I can distribute for free Smiley

Hey !
I'm working again in Astlan, after a 2 oy 3 years hiatus.

Recoding everything in Lua, exit Squirrel! Most of it is just porting the source, as both languages are really similar.

Here's a first video capture. Same game mechanic, new game engine.

Worked a bit on the conversion process.
The level converter (written in Python) translates the legacy "GameStart" files into Json scenegraph files.
Slowly bringing the older look back into the new version.

At the moment I'm thinking that Python is a perfect candidate to bring a level editor to life.
But first, let's finish the port ! Smiley
