@XRA - It's so cool to see that - it's like even though these objects 'exist', they move around and get 'smoky'. Very interesting visuals. Also, did you mean to include that stuff under your next-to-last post, or did the forum flip out? LOL Either way, it also, is indicative of what kind of game you're aiming to make. Nice job!

quick update, I'm learning about Matrix4x4 stuff and will be doing some HUD soon. Needs to feel like you're using a scientific instrument from NASA crossed with a T-101's vision HUD.
 
Also maybe a bit of this:



Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make the Vertex Shader handle some of the positioning that I'm doing manually each frame so that it can be faster... I don't know if I will figure that out anytime soon.

Sheesh dude. This is amazing. The crap you're pulling out of those shaders of yours, it looks like legit smoke. Not volumetric particles like other games. Smoke. Fog. Reality. But a little twisted.
