Chevy: I can totally shuttle you from SFO to Indie House.  That's ridiculously close to my place.

I love you. That sounds great!

Cool, Matt. You're in. I have one slot remaining.

@mcgrue is that slot still available? I'm looking for a place to stay down in mt. view.

It is on the floor right?

Is this also the thread for carpooling?  Because I'm hoping to find a ride from basically anywhere BARTable to Hacker Dojo on Thursday and Friday.

A friend and I are in the same boat as Jim -- 2 guys from SF-side BART trax hoping for a carpool down.

Or maybe we should start a separate thread for carpooling? Don't wanna be forced to leave the jam by 9 or 10 each night because of CalTrain.

Yeah, I really don't want to have to head back early every night. If we have around 8 people, it might not be bad to rent a van and drive down. If the price was $10-15 a day per person, I'd be willing to use my city car share account to rent something.

Edit: I figured it out and I think if we can get 8 people who want to go from SF to the jam and back, we could snag a car from relayrides for about $18 a person.

I will very likely be renting a car just so I don't have to worry about transportation.  More than happy to carpool w/ people every day to and from the house.

I'm also looking to commute from SF. I'm happy to BART it with a few people but if anyone does get a rental car going (I would drive if I had a license!) consider me interested Smiley

So I realize I'm a little late on asking here, but anyone still need a ride from SF on friday?

Before you get too excited, it won't be until midafternoon, and is only one way (splitting a hotel room with friends once I get down there, so I won't be driving back until Sunday)  But if it's useful for someone to get a ride from SF down to Mountain View on Friday the 21st in midafternoon, I have a spot in my car!  (Two if we scrunch someone)

PM me if this helps anyone!

I might take you up on this, but if someone else can commit then go for it.

This is also late notice, but does anyone have an extra room/floor/etc or would anyone want to split a hotel room?
