CTRL-F found me no Cobalt, probably one of my most anticipated. That said, I voted: Spelunky XBLA Dust: An Elysian Tale Monaco Owlboy Iconoclasts The Binding of Isaac

added cobalt; not sure why i didn't include it before, it's also one of the games i'm looking forward to
removed Bangai-O; will keep DaggerXL on the list until i do some research on it (i had never heard of it, it's included cause someone nominated it)

Hah damn I should've waited until you added Cobalt before voting. Oh well whatever.

Looks like Dyad is there twice.
Also, should Monaco not be: "Monaco: What's yours is mine"?

I voted for a few different titles and probably missed a few because the list is getting long. Also I probably know some that aren't on there, if I can be bothered going through my bookmarks.

This thread made me realize how much my interest in indie games has faltered recently. I don't know most of these titles, and the ones I know are still "meh" for me (or on the Xbox). There are only two games in this list I can honestly say I'm waiting for.
Saturated Dreamers, in which I picked interest few years ago when I was more active (and because I know Paul). It's an overly ambitious project and I'm really curious how well Paul will manage to pull it off. And Journey, because it's goddamn pretty.

Can't say I really know any names on that list. Cletus Clay's video always impressed me. Cinders and Saturated Dreamers interest me because they're made by ma tool, and look fantastic. Mmm, dunno, I think that's about it. Phantasmaburbia by Banov is looking good.

Where does this list come from? Is there some register for games in progress?
most of them come from nominations. i asked for nominations for this poll in a separate thread several months ago, and via twitter the rest of them come from the previous poll (this is the 2011 version, there was also a 2009 version) -- games that have still not yet been released and were on that poll are included in this poll, even though some of them are likely abandoned or no longer being worked on this thread is the closest thing there is to such a register

also, for people like teegee and desert dog who don't know most of the names on the list, think of this as an opportunity to learn about interesting games in production; i'll soon have a list of links for each game in the first post

Thanks. Yes, the game remains Vince Twelve's main project from what he tells.

2 years is quite a long time for an indie game to be in development, so it would be understandable if some of them have been abandoned. I'd expect a project to be finished in under 6 months if it's going to be finished at all. Not really, or more like it depends. Machinarium(?), Aquaria and few other took longer, and I don't think Saturated Dreamers is going to be unfinished But yes, if it is one developer or something and nothing is heard from them, then it is likely. But many indie games took years to make.

I'm surprised Trine 2 got so few votes. I thought the first one was lovely.
La Mulana Wii will be sweet.
