Yeah, you heard me right. Now before you go off thinking this is some game where you're running around shooting people "to the beat" or whatever preconceptions there are about games based on hip-hop, this is *entirely* different.
Imagine a game that....
... role-plays like Fallout 3
...looks like GTA 3
....but is actually a massively multiplayer business simulation game.
Behind the scenes it's like a fantasy baseball game, but instead of managing a roster of athletes, you're the CEO of fantasy record label managing a roster of hip hop artists. And you don't get these artists by just clicking on a drop-down menu come draft time — you actually explore the virtual in-game nightlife and attend shows where hip hop talent (and their managers) show up. There's a subtle "Pokemon-ish" vibe to it, in that you go to a low-end bar and you might run into the NPC representing a relatively unknown indie hip hop artist, but if you go to a high end nightclub you may run into Kanye West's manager....
...you get the vibe.
Anywho, needless to say, there's pretty much no game out there like this, and we've generated quite a bit of (stealthy) buzz out here in Silicon Valley. We're looking for more engineer who can join us full-time in Sunnyvale, CA. You should know C++, OpenGL, and PHP like the back of your hand
