Wouldn't that be great?
Imagine this: the story is that some British gentleman ran out of tea, and the store is all out, and the culprit is a demon from Hell, sent to reak havoc on England by getting rid of all tea in the world so you travel to Hell to save England!
It'd have Castlevania gameplay, but the whip is replaced with a cane, you can throw crumpets at enemies as projectiles, but they're limited so collect and use them wisely.
Sounds hardcore.
Anyone wanna expand on this idea, here?

Ignoring the fact that a main character being a stereotype like that would be unfunny, I think that Henry Hatsworth and/or Hellgate: London already beat you to the punch.

I like to laugh at dumb, fat Americans (i.e. ALL Americans). I like to laugh at idiots who think that every single Americian is dumb even though we are making better games than you (excluding Japan, it's the master)

This isn't a game idea, it's a story idea.
Also it's a dumb story idea.
Oh no wait the topic wasn't an evaluation, it was supposed to be an expansion. Okay. How about the British guy has like a glave attack, but it's a monocle? Monocles are British, aren't they? Let me just check on Wikipedia...
Well what Wikipedia says is that eyewear, as well as all other pieces of apparel, foodstuffs or inanimate objects in general don't contain within them a nationality. Huh.

I'd like to expand on this idea by stating that you should avoid cliches like this. Too many times I've seen the same scenario. (Save the world from w/e dark force). Maybe eh, this British man becomes a bandit? Steal tea perhaps. I've never seen a British(not that race matters.) thief type game.. It would be a first for me.

The demon wouldprobably not give a shit about england though because there are more bigger places on earth where tea is consumed. Also if it was a british gentlemen he would probably try to negotiate a 50/50 monopoly on the tea with the demon (then make another deal with another demon to have the two demons fight together and reap the benefits)

I like tea, make it about me. Except instead of fighting a demon, I'm fighting fatness incarnate. Attacks include:
-Suffocating the enemy in fat rolls -Sweat bath (-10 defense) -Steam roller. Rolls backwards, smashing the player. -Eating. +10 attack.
