Is there any anime that doesnt somehow scew a bit towards Lolies and does not overemphasise Sexual problems. Like, I would actually want to watch something cool again(I watched Gurren lagann and that was cool) I dono, maybe its the art style or something, it just seems way too oversexualized for me.  |

I like finding odd little shows that are mostly forgotten about. Just finished Blue Drop - it's not a brilliant show and there are plenty of flaws, but it has a nice feel to it and gets that across ... succinctly, I guess? If the science fiction aspect had been given a bit more work (not at expense of the school-life character developmenty stuff though) it would probably have been better. As-is, it was good though - not a completely typical sort of show.
Reminds me a great deal of Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu, which is even more succinct (and better, I suspect, but it's been a while since I watched it).

No, they just rehash the same basic setup every season in a slightly different setting. Pay it no mind. This season looks awful. There's really nothing I'm looking forward to. It's a good thing that a lot of the good shows from last season are continuing. |

Cute girls doing cute things, first season felt somewhat charming at the time and not its just tedious.
Personally i'd say hidamari sketch is the superior series in that "genre" but its really not for everyone.

don't get intimidated, ANtY-kun. k-on offers so much more - the characters are depicted with rich detail, so is the overall environment. the dialoges are little masterpieces. if you're not specifically looking for plot or something action oriented (and don't have prejudices regarding the setting) you will most likely like it. |
