Do you watch JoJo's Bizarre Adventure? is it worth the watch cus I hear about it a lot. It's quite lengthy but I feel like I'm missing a lot of fun.

I'd say it is. The first couple episodes can kind of be a drag, but once the action hits it's hard to look away. I think the series also gets progressively better with each season. If you're looking for story though, I'd just look away, as the fight scenes and stuff really overshadow most logic and progression in the show.

Thanks! I should definitely give it a try.
Oh a couple of days ago I made a "To be continued" (from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) version of a game I'm making currently:

A good episode. TFS, one of the greats.

Found this cover through an abridged series:

I definitely love how TFS reinterpreted Cell overall. Vegita too is fantastic.

IMHO:

TFS's characterisation is outstanding. Cell's first form was a fantastic, irredeemable villain. Vegeta's comedic arrogance and insecurity practically made him the star of the show. Their take on Freeza was excellent. And, well, Mr. Popo...

One thing that seems to work well for TFS is that they seem to try to make almost every character, hero and villain alike, epic in some way.

I totally agree on that. Even Nail and Kami have some great spotlights despite being nowadays just voices. And lets not forget about Super Kami Guru.

In an unrelated note, can anyone recommend a manga in the vein of Monster? I want to read a some down to earth drama/thriller.

So many awesome characters during the DBZ Abridged Freeza arc, so little time to discuss them all. It really was an excellent arc in an excellent series.

Watched my last anime a year ago, probably. Before that I've watched maybe 100+ titles. I've just got bored by stereotypical characters. It's like same characters migrate from one anime to another. But still, I want to watch some new stuff. I'm tired of waifu-related fanservice, huge boobs with close to none clothes, Japanese teenagers as main characters, etc.
Could someone please suggest something similar to one of these: Cowboy Bebop, BECK: Mongolian chop squad, Great Teacher Onizuka, Darker than black, Psycho Pass, Full Metal Alchemist?
Most interested in something similar to the first three that I've mentioned.

Some quick suggestions: Black Lagoon, Code Geass, Death Note, Hellsing/Hellsing Ultimate, Monster, Berserk, Paranoia Agent, Trigun, Vampire Hunter D R2, Ninja Scroll (standalone not series), Basilisk. Enjoy. Smiley

EDIT: Missed the bit about 100+ titles seen, so you've probably seen most of these. Hopefully there are still a few that you haven't yet seen. Failing that, you could always re-watch the classics.

There is always good anime and some of them do have the shitty tropes ... but it became harder to separate the wheat from the chaff because the community has become focused and enamoured with the shitty aspect, f**k weeaboo
