There is zero school girl in the last anime, It's heavy on geopolitique and war. The main character isn't even average, she an immortal person and it follow her as people around her age and have to cope with the fact they will die before her. And this use as a metaphor of the passage time and the rise and fall of empire, and the legacy of people left behind (the main character being literally history as she weave a cloth that recount all the events).

IN fact the video mocks the exact same thing you mocked in like the first two minutes because this one is the opposite of that. It's written by Mari Okada, which is such a writing legend she is going to have her own anime based on her life.

And you must be young, because anime has always been about highschool.
