Hi there!

My name is Paul Schneider, I'm from Germany and I've just released my first public presentation video of my upcoming game "Super Panda Adventures" (still months away from release, so no need to panic about deadlines) and I'm currently looking for a composer for this game.

What's this game?

It's a casual-friendly platform-adventure with lots of rpg elements like level ups, upgrades, magic abilities, quests and a non-linear storyline presented in a very non-complicated way. You can take a look at my video presentation if you're interested to see how the game is going to be like. The release is planned for PC only but it's possible to make an XBOX or other platform/portable ports later.

(Soundtrack in the video is from Bastion)

What I bring
My last game GunGirl2 (www.gungirl2.com) was very liked by players and press around the world and I got hundreds of thousands of downloads and lots of non-profit digital distributors for that game (mostly magazine cover dvds). It was just a freeware game, but it was my first step into unknown water and for me it was a great success. So in short I'm an experienced indie game developer and I want to achieve even more with my new game. Also I want to mention that I'm very open minded and as long as you know what you're doing I will give you the freedom to work as you like and how you like. I will not nag you to death with deadlines or changes I want you to make on the tracks. I want you to relax and be creative so that everyone is happy with the result Smiley

What you should bring
You should be an experienced composer who has access to or plays at least one or two real instruments. You should be familiar with a wide variety of modern and retro game soundtracks. You should know how to make fun, atmospheric and catchy tunes for games. The soundtrack will need about 20 tracks with an average length of 3 minutes per song so please make sure if you have the time to commit to this project before you message me. In the presentation video I'm using the soundtrack of Bastion, but it's not exactly what I'm looking for and I'm open for any other style of music if you have something else in mind. Just keep in mind that I want the soundtrack to be casual enough for people to buy and put on their iphones later (but if you put some 8bit elements in it that would be awesome^^). If you happen to know the soundtrack of GunGirl 2 from Josh Whelchel it's also a plus because then you know what grade of music I expect.

Contact
If you are interested, please write me an email to paulinthenet_at_gmx.de or write me a pm and link me some samples or projects you've worked on. It's a big plus if you could already compose a short sample for the game so I can see if your style fits my expectations.

Payment
A Paypal account for payment is preferable but not a must. The exact payment method can be discussed after I've heard from you, but I would prefer the payment in three chunks. One at beginning of your work, one at the end of work and one after release of the game.

Thanks for reading and have a great day Smiley

Would love to try and apply for this but unfortunately (for good and bad) too busy with other projects!

Just wanted to let you know that I think you've got something promising here, I really enjoy the graphics and judging from the video it seems to have the right "feel" to it in regards to running around and jumping etc. Looks like quality all the way through, hope you find a composer who is up for the task! Beer!
