I'm afraid I won't be able to make it to tomorrow's meet-up (got work to do), but I hope everyone has a good time anyway Tongue

I'll be seeing some of you for Ludum Dare, though!

I've invited a couple of people from work/ex-work, dunno if they'll come. But I'm looking forward to it!

Good meeting for a few of us, we had some other people turn up who couldn't find us though. Going to rectify this problem in the future by placing the Midlands Indies 1up Mushroom on the table so newcomers can just look for that.

I'll post a photo of it in the first post once I get it off my iPod.

Hopefully next year's meetups will get bigger!

Shall we do the next one at Inspire again? Anyone got any objects / suggestions?

Took a photo of the table-identifying mushroom.

Inspire sounds better! I'll look out for the 1up.

I really want to come down to this but Coventry is a fairly huge round-trip from Derby.  Any plans to take this on the road?  Birmingham or Leicester maybe?

Failing that - I might catch you all at GDC.  Might involve less travelling!

I was thinking of suggesting occasional Birmingham meetups, as it'll be more convenient to get to for anyone further out who fancies coming. So I'm up for that sometime.

Quality night last night! 10 people - I think that's a record.

Well if there's any demand - then I'd definitely vote for a Birmingham meet?  I guess it's worth a vote to see whether it would bring in more from further afield, and whether those that attend the Leamington / Coventry events would still attend.

Will try and make the next Leam one though - then I can float the idea in person Smiley

Dave has suggested going to The Lounge in Leamington (on the 8th Feb): http://www.theloungeleamingtonspa.co.uk/

We'll go there unless there are any objections?

Warwick Game Design is hosting an evening of fun indie multiplayer games!

It's gonna be Wednesday 1st February from 5:00 to 10:00 on Warwick campus

I'm not organising it so not 100% sure what games will be there, but I believe it should include 0space, J.S. Joust, Pole Riders and more.

If you're interested in coming, let someone know! Either on this thread or on the Midlands Indies mailing list or messaging me directly. I don't know the exact location myself yet (it'll be on Warwick campus), but I can let you know when I find out.

If you wanted to bring PC-compatible game controllers that would potentially be useful...

There's been a bit more talk on Twitter of meeting up in Birmingham. Is anyone who currently attends in Coventry / Leamington interested in this?

Cool. As long as at least a few people are ok with it I think we should do it. Maybe in March? Then Coventry in April.
