You might want to check your emails for the IGF feedback. We just received ours today.

This is one of the greatest interviews I have ever read. Super Joe is quite the investigative journalist. i find the story within the story I want my body to be covered with this interview.

I received two pieces of feedback. Both were nice, but one in particular was thoughtful and interesting. I hope others got good feedback, too.

i got one feedback for SD -- from what it said, they seemed to have played about 15 minutes of it. they also resented that they had to spend effort to get something that later on, a power up let them get much more easily, and they felt they had wasted time trying to get it the hard way in the first place. but... it's a metroidvania/zeldalike, isn't that the whole point, that you collect items/abilities that make earlier parts of the game easier when you revisit them?

I got feedback from six different people. Overall they praised the game, but noted the biggest flaw being its frustrating level of difficulty, which we're working on ironing out. They all seemed to like it though and their feedback was relevant.

Well, you paid them $100, the least they can do is tell you good things about your game. XD

I posted mine for Scoregasm here: http://www.charliesgames.com/wordpress/?p=837Quite happy that those who judged the game actually played it and enjoyed it. Previous year's feedback had been quite telling in places that some judges hadn't played for more than a couple of minutes. Cheers Charlie

Shouldn't all feedback be just an elaborate paragraph telling you how you aren't phil fish and how your game isn't Fez ? Why waste so much time on all this drivel?

Got two pieces of feedback along the lines of, yeah, it's fun and alright.
Didn't even have a soundtrack or even 70% of the current content in it back then. Or a plot.
Don't know about submitting it again.

We received feedback yesterday. 80% positive feedback, 5% negative and 15% praising the game. But we weren't nominated So i'd like to read the feedback about the nominated games.

My game wasn't nominated either, but I posted my feedback anyways. There are a few spoilers, so you probably ought to play the game first (it takes about 6 minutes to play through): http://digitaldessert.com/igf-feedback/

paying to write words is an unnatural state of human affairs. the igf judges are sinners and have undermined the purity of language.

How does it feel to have basically paid Phil Fish $100 for this "feedback"?
