I work mostly with Photoshop, Flash, GraphicsGale, and Corel Painter
Here are some ballpark prices, but if you are unsure, message me because I will more than likely negotiate
These can also be pixel based or HD sprite, whatever is needed.
Design a character- $10
Character designed, sprite made, and with a few basic action animations/sprites (walking, attacks, jumps)- $30
If you have a base sprite already and just need actions animated- $2-4 per frame
Backgrounds- Depends completely on size and complexity, but around $10
Animation- $20 per 10 seconds (thats about 240 frames of animation)
Again, everything is negotiable. I wouldnt charge the same for a sprite of something simple like a blob monster as I would for something more complicated like a fully detailed armor character or something. Also if you have a lot of things that needs to be done I would charge far less if more work is being promised. Also would accept percentage of sales, but need something to show that the game will be published (had a few promises that I spent hours on and they turned into cancelled projects)
