Oh man I want to give player 2 some green armor now. I like your spin on the armor design too!

I put some final touches on the game this morning: -Player 2 now has green armor as inspired by eigenbom's fan art -Added a menu song-Got rid of art assets I wasn't using in the executable -I set out to make a small, polished, fun, 2 player arcade game for my roommates and I when I moved in back in October of 2011. We play regularly and have a blast so I'm satisfied. It is finished! If you have any feedback/bug reports/ideas for things I could change please shoot me a pm. Thanks to everyone who tried the game and contributed feedback/encouragement/art(Ashkin,eigenbom,J.R. Hill,CEDE). Every little bit helped get this done. Enjoy - the Blitz has begun

Good job!
Are you gonna make a 1 player only version? Would be nice to fight an AI. Just a suggestion.

I hope that I won't forget about it when I'll be at my dad's place so I'll have someone to play with. Looks like fun on the video!

Speaking of playing with buddies and having drinks, a bunch of friends are getting together tomorrow to watch a wrestling pay per view, and I'm gonna download this to my laptop and bring it along!

Just checking in to say we played it for a good three or four hours, and everybody had a complete blast! It was set up on my laptop after the PPV was over, and the eleven guys there each got a chance to play it and we all loved it. I went undefeated and I heard one guy say "This game is so fun, even if I'm losing miserably" which I think is a pretty good quote Anyway man, thanks for making such a great game, and I can foresee this becoming a regular thing among our group!

I need to try this out! (You're smart in avoiding the name "Pong" in the title...Atari's lawyers think they own that despite, you know, the existence of "Ping Pong".) Way back when I made JoustPong for the Atari 2600 and had to rename it FlapPing. It took the back and forth of Pong and added the gravity/flapping mechanic of Joust: http://alienbill.com/2600/flapping/I think your idea is even more engaging!
