Hi, my partner and I have been working on this game for a few months now. It is a casual+ word game, that we currently call Anagramer (that we're going to change at some point).
You might have played games like it before (given X letters, find all of the words they can make), but we decided to take this idea and make it as fun and polished as possible, adding a few features that we have never seen in other games.
My partner has been doing most of the current artwork, but she's not a dedicated artist. Here are some screenshots of the game right now (click for full size):

We're at the point where we want the game to look better, and seeing as neither of us know any artists, I'm here to see if anyone would like to do the art for this game.
To put it bluntly, it would be amazing if the game could look like a PopCap game. I understand that's a *bit* of a high bar, though, but their games look and play awesome, and that's what we're trying to polish the game up to.
The game doesn't have any kind of theme right now. If you can think of a good theme for the game (Bookworm, for example), great!
I would like the overall look of the game to feel "soft". For comparison to the current art, I could consider Bejeweled to have a "sharp" art style, and Plants vs Zombies to have more of a "Soft" art style. I'm open to suggestions though.
I'm a bit partial to the color blue, but that's just because I love the color blue on everything.
We've worked through the layout a lot, and settled on this, but if you can find a better one, by all means go for it.
The game runs at a fixed size of 1100x800, automatically scaling to fit the monitor (it runs on netbooks!)
I'm 20 and unemployed, so I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on art. If I really like your work, I can try to come to an agreement one way or another.
Some sort of idea right off the bat on where you would take the art would be awesome, but I'm not sure how these things work, so just let me know.
If you think you're interested in this project, you can contact me:

- Xfire or Steam, username SneakyMax (I will accept friend requests while I'm still looking)
I will be happy to hook you up with a working version of the game.
Thanks!
