"Alone in Dreams" is a game I'm creating with
Frederico Machuca. Fre is in Brazil, I'm in Winnipeg, Canada.
The game could be called an "adventure game," but we're mixing a lot of different influences and gameplay styles. We also want to make everything feel seamless and cohesive while offering up this variety. It's an interesting design challenge, and it's really fun to come up with nice, minimalist ways of weaving all these different ideas together.
It's also the basis for a series of Unity tutorials. These include making-ofs that explain how we did certain things in the game, as well as "build your own" tutorials where we give you some assets from the game and a few scripts - so you can go nuts and make your own thing. If you have any questions about anything we've made, let me know.

Tutorial 01This one is mainly an intro to the project. Shows off a little bit of the game, and talks briefly about how some of the code/objects are organized.
