Just got a $20 Wii Points Card, and I'm itching for some good ol' multiplayer games. Any suggestions?

What's the one with Pit? Kid Icarus? That one's apparently good, but it strikes me as being absurdly niche (having a cult fanbase only).

Besides, I'm specifically looking for multiplayer games. Somebody was telling me about a Gauntlet-style for the Turbo-Grafx called Dungeon Explorer. Anbody know if it's any good?

I recommend Toejam and Earl or Bubble Bobble.

Don't they have Streets of Rage?
Pick your favourite one of those. If you can't decide, roll a d3.

Gunstar Heroes is about the most fun multiplayer game ever. Then again, it's also the best single player game. I'm not sure about it being on wiiware, though. I think it would be worth checking, at least.

It's like an isometric golf game featuring characters from the Kirby universe. The course design is reminiscent of Marble Madness, but in terms of gameplay it's closer to the golf minigame from Super Monkey Ball. It's pretty good, too.

Kirby Super Star. The Great Cave Offensive is super-great for co-op.

AHEMWHAT. Kid Icarus is awesome. It's only singleplayer though.

I wouldn't exactly call it good, but I had a lot of fun playing it with my brothers. Lots of use of turbo buttons to slide around on one leg with pantsless characters. It's somewhat challenging and takes some time to beat, so it may be worth getting. We had even more fun failing to decrypt the passwords.

If you get Lode Runner, get Battle Lode Runner instead.

What's the difference between the two? I'm sorry, I'm just not very familiar with the series.

Battle Lode-Runner has 6 player multiplayer, better graphics, and better gameplay than the NES version for only 100 points more.

Okay, so Battle Lode Runner is a definite get. Kirby Super Star is also a do-want, even though it's not out in America yet. 'Til then, there's always River City Ransom.
So...
Battle Lode Runner- 600 Points River City Ransom- 500 Points
Total Remaining- 900 Points
This should be more than enough games for now. Thanks a bunch, guys!
