Looks great, I love the tree enemy! Smiley  Are you going to enter it into igf? The deadline is novemeber and with the progress you are making it looks like you could easily have a playable demo to enter.  The student entry is free!  I say go for it.

That was the plan. But I'm moving in 9 days, and after I move, I won't have constant access to a computer Sad until I buy one. So there may be a month or so of little/no progress on Skullboy. But I think 3 months time is still plenty to have a GOOD playable demo ready, so yeah, I'll set my sights on that Grin

I'm not dead.  Just busy.  I started school again, yay.  Senior year.   Lips Sealed  I haven't had as much time as I would like to work, but I got up earlier today which gave me time to draw.  Smiley

Aaaaaaaand, here is a quick sketch.  I would like to color it now and everything, but I want to digitally paint it.  And I am really, REALLY bad at that.  Anybody have any tips on that?  What brushes to use, etc...?   Beer!

That looks amazing.

Whenever I paint/colour anything, I tend to just use photoshop's default brushes (the normal, round hard ones) with Opacity Dynamics (under Other Dynamics in the brush menu) and Shape Dynamics. But you should experiment to see what works for you.

Great for now, I just hope that the screen resolution and characters are not so small as in the mini in-game screens.

I think it all looks brilliant, looks fun too.

However, i think a few of the attacks lack power, because they look too slow (too many frames..not enough anticipation)..

Yikes, I haven't had any updates in a long time.  Sorry 'bout that.

I've had so much schoolwork, it's killing me.  Buuuut I have been working on clay models of the Skullboy characters, so far none are finished but I will post pics.   Beer!

Also, lack of Photoshop really sucks.  I lost it when I lost my old computer.   Cry
