As the new game is getting along I thought it was time to start posting some ingame videos.

The game is a stealth game with focus on timing and planning.

C++, opengl and SFML. The map is made in any 3d software that supports .obj and the rest is the ingame editor.

Here is the video:

Here is an update for all the support I got here and on my mail:

New work on the shadows and gui:

You got me interested. I like the minimalistic art style, will you keep it more or less like that or is it a placeholder?

This was the art style I was going for.

Guards are in the game and working. Just set their waypoints and give them a weapon and they start patrolling. If they see or hear you they start chasing you. If guards are close by they also tell them where you are.

I think it would be cool if you gave off little footsteps noises when you move.
Do you mean visual or sound? I have just been thinking about sound for now.

This looks really intriguing.  Is your colour palette finalized?  I think you could deliver a lot of user information with some smart colour coding.  Something with low eyestrain like this: http://scutanddestroy.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/transparency.jpg (not my graphic, just an example).  This 'schematic' style could also lend itself to graphic icon representations of units, maybe like an air traffic control map, or Defcon etc.

Very cool system for setting up sentry behaviours too.  I'll enjoy watching this project!

The shadows look great.  Is it really necessary to have almost half the video taken up by dialogue?

Had a couple of really bad spelling errors in the last one so I tried to compensate.
