This is an awesome idea for a competition. I'm sorry I didn't learn about it until three days for the deadline. I suppose that doesn't technically disqualify me yet, but I do need to sleep occasionally...

I counted about 30 finished entries, we could expect perhaps a 5 or 6 more before tonight (some people sometimes just register at the lastmoment to post their entries, srsly)

About the deadline, yeah, it's generally your midnight.

Are there going to be special prizes like last time?

You know, like Most Accurate Demake, Most Interesting Demake, etc.

I'd dig.
me too. just sayin'.

So the deadline is around midnight. But what time zone? I don't want my labor of love to be disqualified just because some stupid technicality now...

Don't take this as gospel, but TIGSource competitions are relatively informal.  The aim is get people to make games, so as long as it's before midnight Sept 7th somewhere nobody will try and lawyer you.

Clarification on the deadline: it is indeed fuzzy.  Fuzzy like the puss caterpillar:

Just get 'er done before you go to bed tonight (Sunday night), and everything should be A-OK.  I'll check and round up the entries tomorrow after I wake up (I'm PST)!

GOOD LUCK! Gentleman

I'll just make the game post-demakes and put it in feedback Tongue

Hrmm, what's the go on Post-Demake Demakes? Can we just chuck them in here with a big POST-DEMAKE on them? Or should they go in the feedback?

Also, is that a REAL caterpillar? It looks like a tiny cat.

So how many finished entries do we have already? This is mindblowing Shocked

How am I supposed to play all those great games so I can judge them? Undecided Speaking of it, how much time will we have for judging? And how many votes?

I'm reasonably proud not to have contributed to this fact whatsoever.

Perhaps it's a capitalpillar?

(Hi Erin!)

So, er, yeah. With this many entries, do we get until december or so before we vote on them? Otherwise I'm tempted to just vote for the coolest name  Wink

A month... hmm, should work.

Well done everyone! High Qual-I-Tay. The outcomes were clever and hilarious and addictive and good on many levels.

I KNEW demakes were an awesome idea. Pity I didn't get mine done. Next tiiiiiiime!
